The Federation of German paratroopers, the community in which have united:
- paratroopers of the Wehrmacht
- airborne Soldiers and soldiers of the specialized forces of the Bundeswehr
- Reservists / Reservistinnen of these forces and
- their relatives, friends and supporters
The Association is the generations- and forces-comprehemsive forum for the promition of cohesion,
the exchange of views and ideas, joint activities at home and outside of Germany.
As a member of the European Paratroopers Union it is a promotional element of international understanding and European cooperation.
Our objectives are, to support and promoting
- for the soldiers and units of active airborne- , special- and specialized forces
- the soldiers and reservists, especially when they are outside of Germany
- the survivers of the died, missing and deceased comrades
- in case of emergancy assistance of our “Help-Organisation Generaloberst Student”
- participation in the investigation of missing soldier
- of international understanding and world-peace
- contributing to the establishment and maintenance of military memorials
- the history of the german airborne troops and specialized forces
- the establishment of a paratroopers museum
- the parachute sports and other military training
- of the understanding and cohesion between the generations
- of the European cooperation and integration, particularly in the context of the European
airborne association
- the international security-information-work
- the development of the airborne- , special-, and specialized troops in national-, european- and NATO
framework
The Federation of the German Airborne committed to the Basic-Law of the Federal Republic of Germany
We are independent and regardless from all parties and religion.
Actice soldiers, reservists and veterans holds their meetings at the local organisations of our federation.
We maintain partnerships to all the parachutes of frindly nations and we are a member of the European Paratroopers Union U.E.P.
Our association-newspaper “Der Deutsche Fallschirmjäger” regularly informed about current events, talk about the history of our troops, and reports from the active force.
